Resources for Future Nurses
There is increasing need for nurses in the U.S., therefore becoming a nurse will provide many professional opportunities in a growing field. Before starting nursing school, most students will need to take either the TEAS test or HESI exam to secure a place on a nursing program. Following nursing school education, students will need to take one of the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) tests, NCLEX-RN or NCLEX-PN depending on the desired career path.
When factoring in the cost of becoming a nurse, it is important to consider the NCLEX fees as well as the cost of nursing school. Being as prepared as possible can reduce the number of times you need to take required exams. One way to ensure you feel confident before test day is to take NCLEX practice tests and understand NCLEX questions.
